Psychotherapy/Counseling
Psychotherapy is a process that is accomplished largely by the exchange of verbal communication, hence it is often referred to as ‘talk therapy’, where the objective is of removing or modifying existing symptoms, mediating disturbed patterns of behavior and promoting positive personality growth and development. The therapist is trained in different approaches and uses tools to bring about the necessary change in the thoughts, feelings, perceptions, emotions and actions of the clients; helping the clients to develop effective ways of coping with carious stressful stimuli or conditions.
